Warehouse Associate / PIT Operator – Afternoon Shift
A high-volume distribution environment is seeking skilled Warehouse Associates trained in powered industrial truck (PIT) operation. This role supports inbound receiving, material movement, and order accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The facility primarily uses reach trucks and stand-up forklifts.
Key Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers — primarily reach trucks and stand-up forklifts — to push, pull, lift, stack, and move product, equipment, and materials

Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy

Load and unload trailers as needed

Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean, organized environment

Demonstrate process excellence and an understanding of supply chain quality standards

Perform inbound receiving processes
Requirements
-
1 year of warehouse experience

Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks

Steel-toe boots or shoes required
-
Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime

Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and over 75 lbs occasionally

Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights

Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
-
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools or equipment

Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule & Pay

Afternoon shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Pay rate: $19.00 per hour (includes shift premium)
- Ability to train on 1st shift for approximately one week, 9:00am to 5:00pm
