Hiring 2nd Shift Manufacturing Assemblers -New Hire Classes every Monday!
Work as part of a team who has the responsibility for assembling components or an entire product by following specific work instructions. Associates will be assembling or fabricating components for commercial HVAC systems inside a heavy industrial manufacturing facility – Location is Columbia, SC
What you will do:
Assemble quality products according to specific standards
Work as part of a team to put together large scale components
Handle both raw and finished materials – mainly stainless steel, copper, or similar materials
Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and material lists
Operate industrial equipment as needed to move and package finished products
Work efficiently and be a self-starter
Navigate computer-based software for next steps
Effectively problem-solve and apply basic mathematic knowledge of measurements, fractions, etc.
Adhere to all safety policies
Wear and maneuver in a safety harness when working at heights
Keep all materials orderly and work areas clean
Rotate to different workstations as needed to aid in other assembly steps as needed
What you will need:
Prior manufacturing, construction, or heavy industrial experience OR equivalent trade school experience
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Ability to compute basic mathematical equations using fractions and measurements
Proficiency with using hand or power-tools
Ability to be on your feet for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs independently
High School Diploma or GED

Job Requirements:
- Safely perform physically demanding assembly work for the duration of an 8-10 hr shift
- Heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs on your own (frequently)
- Heavy lifting with a partner - more than 50 lbs (often)
- Minimum of 6 months prior manufacturing or similar experience from other skilled labor trades
- Comfortable working at heights as needed
- GED or High School Diploma
- Willing to submit to a background and drug screening
