Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)

Location: Hayward, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00/6:00 PM (7–8 hours per day)

Pay Rate: $23/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate with strong forklift experience to support daily loading, unloading, packing, and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo from trucks and containers manually and using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Export Packing / Outer Casing: Perform casing work using shrink-wrap machines; measure and record dimensions and weights for booking.
• Inventory & Material Management: Monitor warehouse supplies, packing materials, and maintain organized storage areas.
• Documentation: Prepare and complete warehouse documents with accuracy.
• Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and stage goods throughout the warehouse.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse or moving services experience
• 1 year of safe forklift operation experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks: walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 49 lbs
• Ability to build pallets and pack materials
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read and write in English to complete warehouse paperwork
