Job Opening: Electrician

–A growing manufacturing facility in Sparks Proper is seeking an experienced Electrician to support new production, maintenance, and repair of specialized industrial equipment. This is a temp-to-hire role offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and opportunities for skill development.

• Location: Sparks Proper, NV
• Pay: $30–$34/hr DOE
• Schedule: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Build and program PLCs, high-voltage enclosures, and electrical assemblies using one-lines, schematics, and electrical prints.
• Diagnose electrical issues using diagrams, blueprints, and testing equipment.
• Install, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Perform functional tests and pinpoint issues using various diagnostic tools.
• Safely work with electrical hazards and proper PPE on systems up to 600 volts.
• Work with P&IDs, loop drawings, controllers, digital signals, and 4–20 mA transducers.
• Support distributed control systems, vibration monitors, flow switches, and PLC-based equipment.
• Build and route cable harnesses.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain clear communication across departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at workstations or machinery.
