Inventory Control Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound receiving, product verification, staging, put-away, and inventory movement.
- Lead container unload activities, assign workflow tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure safe work practices.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, inventory transfers, and discrepancy resolution.
- Organize inventory across primary and overflow storage locations while supporting replenishment and FIFO procedures.
- Schedule and conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/WMS systems.
- Support warehouse space planning, inventory consolidation, and high-volume inbound freight operations.
- Coordinate temporary labor and provide leadership for daily warehouse workflow.
- Assist shipping, warehouse, and fulfillment operations as needed.
- Support process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification or experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. (assisted lifts for heavier items).
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and standing in a warehouse environment.
