Needing a Shipping & Logistics Operations Administrator East side in the 1st shift 

Process Auditing & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct Process Auditing: Perform regular, scheduled audits of shipping and warehouse processes to ensure the team is adhering to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify Non-Compliance: Document variations in shipping workflows, identify root causes of process drift, and work with the logistics team to implement corrective actions.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively analyze audit data and shipping metrics to suggest, develop, and implement process improvements that increase throughput and reduce errors.
• Standardize Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining standard work instructions and audit checklists.

Order Tracking & Communication

• Open Orders Management: Review the daily Open Orders Report to monitor shipment statuses and identify orders at risk of delay.
• Order Commenting & Flagging: Input clear, detailed shipping comments and updates within the ERP/system for orders requiring special attention.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively communicate with the Customer Service team regarding backlogs, carrier constraints, or potential delays so they can notify customers in a timely manner.

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role within a shipping, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

• ERP/WMS Systems: Proficiency with warehouse management systems or enterprise resource planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS).
• Data Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reviewing reports, tracking audit data, and managing spreadsheets.

 Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in identifying process discrepancies and documenting order notes.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between warehouse operations and office-based customer support.
• Problem-Solving: A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to look at a broken process and propose structured solutions.
