Job Opening: Production Janitor

Production Janitor – Des Moines, WA

We are seeking dependable Production Janitors to support general housekeeping and sanitation in a refrigerated food-processing facility. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.

• Pay: $19/hr
• Schedule: Morning shift, 7:00 AM start (flexible end time; shifts vary 8–10 hours)
• Days Off: Wednesday & Sunday.

Essential Duties

• Floor sweeping — Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness across production areas
• Debris cleanup — Remove debris on and around the production floor
• Water removal — Clean standing water using squeegee or floor scrubbing machine
• Box breakdown — Break down boxes and manage recycling
• Restroom & lunchroom cleaning — Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and lunchroom throughout the shift
• Trash removal — Empty trash receptacles regularly
• Pest control awareness — Monitor for pest issues and report concerns
• Inspection logs — Complete daily SQF inspection log accurately
• Perform other duties as assigned
