• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | $26.20/hr
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM | $26.70/hr

Friday – Sunday

• Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM | $26.20/hr
• Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM | $26.70/hr

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Lead – Sort Center to support daily operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. In this leadership role, you’ll coordinate workflow, support associates, and help ensure freight is processed safely, accurately, and on time.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy leading by example, solving problems in real time, and creating a positive, high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily sort center operations.
• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure operational goals are met.
• Provide coaching, direction, and support to associates throughout the shift.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance.
• Ensure freight is processed accurately and moves efficiently through the operation.
• Identify and resolve operational issues that may impact service levels.
• Communicate priorities, updates, and expectations to team members.
• Partner with operations leadership and support teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Assist with training, performance feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience.
• Previous experience leading teams, coordinating workflow, or mentoring employees.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic computer and reporting skills.
• Experience in a sort center, distribution center, cross-dock, or transportation environment preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS, TMS, or warehouse technology systems preferred.
• Experience tracking productivity, quality, and operational performance metrics preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
