Description
Essential Duties: · Performs routine assembly tasks building fixtures and assemblies with minimal supervision. · Ability to work in 2 departments within manufacturing as determined by the production schedule · Builds product from assembly instruction, blueprints, engineering sketches and verbal instructions. · Recognizes defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes or faulty workmanship and reports them to the department supervisor. · Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate manufacturing practices and methods. · Conducts mechanical and electrical operational tests and troubleshooting on finished products and subassemblies. · Selects and uses appropriate hand and power tools and measurement equipment required for the task. · Processes appropriate paperwork, such as work order sheets, time sheets and test data sheets, in a timely manner. · Adheres to the companies safety standards and follows ISO policies and procedures. · Keeps work area clean and organized. · Additional tasks assigned as needed Minimum Qualifications:· High school graduate (or GED) and 5+ years related experience. · Good communication skills. · Ability to use hand and power tools and measurement test equipment. · Ability to take instruction on product assembly and then work under minimal supervision · Ability to lift 50 pounds.
