Warehouse Label Scanner Associate – Whittier, CA

Location: Whittier, CA
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Schedule (Monday-Friday):

• 6:00 AM – 2:40 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:40 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Scan labels using an RF scanner
• Enter partial address information when labels cannot be scanned
• Maintain encoding station and ensure workflow efficiency
• Report production and quality issues to Supervisor, Quality Control, and/or Lead
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand English
• Inspect and examine mail pieces and labels for defects
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift
• Frequently lift packages up to 50 lbs from large cardboard boxes
• Experience using an RF scanner preferred
• Ability to recognize and identify addresses and ZIP codes
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may be hot during summer and cold during winter
