Location: Minnetonka, MN Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Minnetonka, MN. This position plays a key role in assembling high-quality products that meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to producing quality products in a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to work orders, assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and established procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, bills of materials, and written work instructions.
• Position, align, and secure components using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Perform assembly operations including:
• Crimping
• Press fitting
• Screwing and bolting
• Wire routing and termination
• Potting and encapsulation
• Epoxy bonding and curing
• Cutting, sanding, cleaning, stamping, and etching
• Labeling and color coding
• Assemble and wire electrical and electronic components according to specifications.
• Test and calibrate finished products to ensure quality and functionality.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for accuracy, defects, and workmanship.
• Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures.
• Cross-train and support multiple production stations as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and productivity.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• At least one year of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electronic assembly experience.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to perform close, detailed visual inspection work.

Work Environment

• Clean manufacturing and production facility.
• Use of hand tools, assembly equipment, and testing equipment.
• Occasional exposure to adhesives, solvents, and related manufacturing materials.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required as appropriate.
