Job Opening: Cleaner / Repair

A company in Grand Rapids is seeking Industrial Cleaners.

Shift: nights 9p-5a

Pay: $18.50/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning duties throughout manufacturing, warehouse, and support areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain production floors and workspaces.
• Remove debris, dust, scrap materials, and waste from designated work areas.
• Empty and transport trash, recycling, and industrial waste to appropriate disposal locations.
• Clean machinery exteriors, equipment surfaces, conveyors, and production support areas following established procedures.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, and pressure washing equipment as authorized.
• Maintain aisles, walkways, and emergency exits in a clean and hazard-free condition.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain janitorial storage areas.
• Follow all Steelcase and MacLellan safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Report equipment problems, safety hazards, spills, or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
• Support special cleaning projects and shutdown cleaning activities as required.
• Work effectively with production teams to minimize disruption to operations.
