Description
A logistics and freight-forwarding company in Seatac, WA is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support cargo coordination, documentation accuracy, and customer communication. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Pay: $21.30–$24/hr DOE
- Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Your Responsibilities
- Cargo coordination — Manage timely movement of cargo from origin to destination, ensuring bookings, deliveries, and documentation meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Customer & vendor communication — Serve as the primary liaison with customers, vendors, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and prevent transit delays.
- Documentation accuracy — Ensure import files, warehouse documents, release paperwork, and reports are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Workflow monitoring — Prioritize tasks to maximize warehouse productivity and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Billing & claims processing — Process billing, claims, and accounting tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
- Customer-focused support — Address transportation issues promptly, support sales/retention efforts, and uphold a customer-first environment.
- Process improvement — Analyze and improve department processes while supporting other departments and stations as needed.
