Shipping & Receiving Associate

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $18.75 – $21.75/hour

ProLogistix is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a warehouse facility in the 77523 area. This position combines shipping and receiving responsibilities with material handling and forklift operation. Approximately 60% of the role involves manual labor and 40% forklift operation based on workload and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pull, and stack flooring materials on pallets
• Secure shipments with shrink wrap
• Review shipping orders using a tablet or iPad
• Verify and maintain shipping documentation
• Prepare outbound shipping paperwork
• Coordinate freight schedules and communicate with carriers
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform equipment inspections and other assigned duties

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Proficiency with tablets or iPads
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
