Job Opening: Overhead Crane Operator

We are seeking a dependable Overhead Crane Operator to support daily slab-handling operations. This role is ideal for someone with solid warehouse experience who is ready to learn crane operation and work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The operator is responsible for pulling slab orders, moving materials throughout the warehouse, and ensuring products are loaded securely for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull slab orders accurately from warehouse inventory
• Operate overhead cranes to move slabs to staging and loading areas
• Load slabs onto customer vehicles and ensure all materials are properly secured
• Unload slabs from containers using forklifts
• Arrange slabs safely and efficiently using forklifts and cranes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free slab warehouse
• Report safety concerns and assist with general warehouse tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
• Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred (training provided)
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Physical Demands:

Regular lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 70 lbs; frequent walking, standing, and manual handling. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring awareness and attention at all times.
