Driver Helper

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver Helper to assist with the delivery and handling of products at customer locations. This position works alongside a delivery driver, supporting loading and unloading activities to ensure efficient and accurate deliveries. This role does not operate or drive company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading products for delivery and pickup.
• Safely handle, move, and transport materials at customer delivery sites.
• Verify products and quantities during loading and unloading processes.
• Help ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Secure products during transport to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and team members.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products to the driver or supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more as required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
