Reach Truck Operator

 

Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

$19.50 per hour

 

Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment to safely move, store, and distribute products throughout the facility.

 

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in warehouse operations. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products and materials

• Push, pull, lift, stack, and transport inventory throughout the warehouse

• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently

• Perform inbound receiving processes

• Use handheld scanners with a high degree of accuracy

• Verify product counts and locations

• Stage products for shipping and storage

• Follow warehouse procedures and quality standards

• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean work environment

• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence and safety

• Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization

• Support additional warehouse projects and duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

 

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience

• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks

• Previous forklift and/or order picker experience required

• Experience using handheld RF scanners

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication skills with peers and leadership

• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

 

Physical Requirements

 

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds

• Occasionally lift more than 75 pounds

• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling

• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle products and equipment

• Ability to work in hot or cold warehouse environments

 

Work Environment

 

• Fast-paced warehouse and distribution center environment
