NOW HIRING: NPI TECHNICIAN

Socorro, TX 79927 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented NPI Technician to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and pilot builds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will assist with material preparation, component validation, production line setup, system transactions, and pilot execution through EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.

Overtime: May be required based on business needs

Language: English required; bilingual preferred

Key Responsibilities

Support EVT, DVT, and PVT pilot builds
Prepare material kits and verify components against BOM requirements
Assist with production line setup and workstation readiness
Perform system transactions and maintain accurate production data
Follow SOPs, work instructions, and documentation requirements
Track materials and ensure kitting readiness
Identify and escalate material, assembly, or production discrepancies
Assist with basic reporting using Excel and Power BI
Support continuous improvement efforts during pilot builds
Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and NPI teams
Maintain ESD, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications

Technical diploma or equivalent experience
Familiarity with NPI processes, including EVT, DVT, and PVT
Ability to read BOMs and technical documentation
Basic Excel and data analysis skills
Experience with Power BI is a plus
Comfortable learning and working with manufacturing systems
Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Flexibility to support changing pilot schedules and production needs

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout production areas for extended periods
Ability to lift and move materials or kits weighing up to 30–40 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
Manual dexterity to handle small electronic components
Ability to work in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment
