Position: Industrial Technician
Location: Socorro, TX 79927
Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Hourly
Shifts: All Shifts Available
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Overtime: May be required based on business needs
Language: English required; bilingual preferred
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues
- Install, calibrate, and test production equipment
- Maintain assembly line and manufacturing support equipment
- Assist with facility systems, including electrical, HVAC, and lighting
- Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records
- Work with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime
- Follow safety, 5S, Lean manufacturing, and quality procedures
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent repairs
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and documentation
- Technical certification or associate degree is preferred
- OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, or similar safety training is a plus
- Electronics or high-tech manufacturing experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds
- Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and equipment
