Job Opening: Forklift Certification Specialist

?? Short-Term Assignment (Approximately 8-12 Weeks)

ProLogistix is seeking an experienced Forklift Certification Specialist to evaluate, validate, and certify associates on powered industrial equipment. This is a short-term project expected to last approximately 8-12 weeks, with potential for long term.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OSHA forklift certification classes and evaluations
• Perform hands-on equipment validations in our in-house Validation Center
• Assess operators’ safety awareness, skills, and equipment proficiency
• Determine whether associates meet certification requirements and can safely operate equipment
• Maintain accurate training, certification, and compliance documentation
• Ensure all records are complete, accurate, and up to date
• Promote a strong culture of safety and operational excellence

Required Equipment Experience

Candidates must have extensive experience operating and evaluating associates on:

• Cherry Picker / Order Picker
• Reach Truck
• Electric Pallet Jack
• Sit-Down Forklift
• Stand-Up Forklift
• Other powered industrial equipment

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA forklift regulations and safety standards
• Experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment
• Ability to objectively evaluate and certify equipment operators
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Excellent communication, observation, and coaching skills
• Prior training, certification, or validation experience preferred
