Job Opening: Facilities Maintenance – Refrigerated

Title: Facilities Maintenance

Shift: 1^st (8am-4:30pm)

Pay: $26/hr

Location: Liberty, MO

Summary:

Reporting to the General Manager (GM), facilities maintenance works with leadership and operations to perform basic maintenance inside and outside the facility as well as preventative maintenance on equipment. This includes taking care of outside maintenance grounds Basic maintenance and repair of the facility, including interior, exterior, and vital systems (HVAC, plumbing, pumps, electrical). Diagnosing failures of vehicles/equipment and maintaining and repairing fleet equipment

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that they are performing all required safety procedures and following all safety practices. This includes Lock Out Tag Out procedures as well as working to ensure safety by corrective unsafe areas with the facilities.
• Managing and evaluating equipment to meet health and safety standards. Inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards
• Tools are kept clean, and maintenance shops should be organized inside and out. Complete master sanitation checklists.
• Ensure parts and tools are properly inventoried and taken care of.
• Help the facility achieve excellent scores in all 3rd party Food Safety audits.
• Properly maintain all equipment and facilities based on total life cycle management philosophies.
• Perform PMs on schedule and ensure all equipment is maintained in a superior fashion, as if you owned it.
• This position requires extensive periods of time walking on concrete floors managing operations and meeting with employees.

Experience:

• An ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Must be able to multi-task and look at the business from both a macro and micro viewpoint.
• Must have broad-based knowledge of warehousing, transportation, manufacturing, and distribution.
• Deals with complex problems at all levels.
