Job Opening: WIP Inventory

The WIP (Work in Progress) Room Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of ingredients and raw materials used in production. This role supports production by receiving, weighing, issuing, returning, and tracking inventory using RF scanners, scales, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Associates will be trained to safely operate equipment such as WAV lifts and Big Joeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute ingredients to production lines.
• Accurately weigh and verify ingredients before issuing or returning them to inventory.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to track inventory movement and locations.
• Operate authorized material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company policies.
• Work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic English communication, reading, and writing skills required.
• Experience with RF scanners, forklifts, or inventory systems preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements Work is performed in a cold food production environment with wet floors and moderate to high noise levels. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
