Material Handler

1st shift 7am-3:30pm

(Picker / Putaway / Loader / Unloader / Receiver)

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Duties include picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and material movement while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities·     

•  Pick, pack, stage, and prepare products for shipment.·   
•  Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.·  
•  Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory.·   
•  Perform putaway, replenishment.·     
•  Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.·   
•  Audit orders and verify product quantities prior to shipment.·    
• Process warehouse documentation including picking tickets, bills of lading, receiving paperwork, and returns.·    
•  Meet established productivity, quality, and performance metrics.·     
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practice.·    
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications·      

• Forklift experience.·     
• Ability to lift, move, and carry products throughout the shift.·     
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.·      
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy.·   
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
