Job Opening: Data Entry
Description
The temporary position will be responsible for data entry into the CMMS system. This will be inputting parts
information, such as part number, manufacturer, cost, location of storage, quantities, etc. This position will also
include inputting some preventative maintenance schedules into the CMMS system.
Work Requirements
• Collect and organize inventory surveys completed by maintenance techs for the previous day.
• Input the parts information from the surveys into the CMMS system.
• Coordinate with maintenance techs to clarify anything that is confusing or illegible on the forms to ensure
accuracy of entries.
• Remove parts that have been used in the previous shift from inventory.
• Help complete maintenance inventories alongside other maintenance technicians if there are no parts to
enter.
• Print new barcodes for new parts or new locations.
• Enter preventative maintenance schedules into the CMMS as assigned by the Maintenance and Reliability
Manager or the Maintenance Planner.
Qualifications
• Ability to type a minimum of 25 words/min with at least a 90% accuracy.
• Proficient data analyzing skills and the ability to identify trends
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate both written and oral.
• Experience in Microsoft Office products, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Use of Auto CAD to update drawings.
• Experience with a CMMS system – E-MAINT version 5 preferred.
The ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with co-workers is necessary. • Telephone and email use is required. • Hearing and vision within normal ranges is required. • Some heavy lifting is involved and being able to walk and stand
