Description

• Possess a mechanical mindset in setting-up, operating monitoring, breaking down and cleaning up complex machinery used on the production line 

 

• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks (SSOP, DOSAR, downtime, time and temperature checks, etc) 

 

• Utilize and maintain scales and thermometers to monitor weights and temperatures of product 

 

• Maintain product integrity , including seals, appearance, taste, texture, etc 

 

• Adjust machine settings to maintain efficient operation (timing, speed, volume, etc) as needed 

 

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties 
• Develop a clear understanding to know when help should be requested 

 

• Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing, as needed  

 

• Ensure specified packaging materials are used for each product scheduled 

 

• Watch for jams or other breakdowns to prevent downtime due to error  

 

• Perform line changeovers in a safe, quality conscious and efficient manner  

 

• Prepare equipment for the next run to include size changes as needed
