Service & Aftermarket Production Worker in Eastside 1st shift
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Service & Aftermarket Production Worker to support the assembly, repair, refurbishment, and modification of products for our service and aftermarket customers. This role is responsible for performing production tasks, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, repair, refurbish, and modify products according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
- Perform inspections and functional tests to verify product quality and performance.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, and production documents.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Identify and report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with packaging, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and customer delivery requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience with product repair, refurbishment, or aftermarket service operations.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience using measurement and testing equipment.
