Job Opening: Warehouse Material Handlers with Forklift

General Description

Mid-level material handling position responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, storing, moving, and documenting materials within a warehouse environment.

Required Equipment (Upon Certification/Training)

Operate pallet jacks, rider jacks, stand-up forklifts, order/cherry pickers, turret trucks, reach trucks, and forklifts up to 15,000 lbs. Heavy-lift forklifts (15,000 lbs. and above) are not authorized.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and sign Bills of Lading (BOLs), verify packing lists, and maintain shipping/receiving documentation.
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance.
• Perform picking, put-away, inventory movements, and order fulfillment in accordance with SOPs.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials using approved equipment.
• Label, tag, scan, count, weigh, and record materials using RF scanners and WMS systems.
• Secure materials for transport using proper strapping, bracing, padding, and packaging methods.
• Follow work orders, shipping instructions, and operational procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking and documentation.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Perform housekeeping duties to support a clean and safe warehouse.
• Provide professional service when loading customer merchandise.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and perform other assigned duties.
