Job Opening: CWR-Production Technician Associate

At GXO Logistics our employees take pride in their work and show dedication to their job. As the Production Technician Associate you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

What youll do on a typical day:

– Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions

– Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments

– Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner

– Operate Tuggers and/or Electric Pallet Jack

– Work with a variety of materials including steel sheet metal aluminum solvents oils and abrasives

– Recommend measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality standards

– Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department

What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum youll need:

– A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques

– Demonstrated ability to read understand and follow job orders and work procedures

– Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment

Itd be great if you also have:

– High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience

– 2 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment

– Availability to travel more than 75 of the time

– Good communication skills
