Description
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Forklift Operator / Labeler / Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Anthony, NM. This position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks, handling materials throughout the warehouse, and supporting shipping, receiving, labeling, and inventory processes. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical labor and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials, finished goods, and equipment to designated warehouse locations.
- Apply labels to products and pallets according to customer and inventory requirements.
- Shrink-wrap pallets and prepare shipments for storage or transportation.
- Break down and rebuild pallets as needed.
- Move goods stored on pallets or in crates throughout the warehouse.
- Stack materials in designated storage areas while following inventory control procedures.
- Verify loads are secure and ready for transport.
- Perform product inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Stack and organize empty pallets.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections, including battery charging and routine equipment checks.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to track inventory and shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent and consistent forklift experience required.
- Experience with material handling, order picking, and inventory movement preferred.
- RF scanner experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
