Industrial Engineering Technician
Socorro, TX | $21.50 – $25.00/hr
Are you passionate about improving processes, increasing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement? We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations by optimizing workflows, balancing production lines, and improving productivity for server and cloud infrastructure products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production layouts.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
- Support line balancing activities to improve throughput and productivity.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kanban systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production performance and recommend process enhancements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and process documentation.
- Support Kaizen events and process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, industrial engineering, electronics, or production experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, MTM, and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
