Immediate Opening for a experienced Warehouse Lead in Lebanon, PA area!!!

Shift: 1st

Time: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Pay: $19 to $22 based on experience / performance

Job Summary

Warehouse Operations

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, loading, and shipping.
• Assist with unloading inbound containers and loading outbound shipments.
• Ensure merchandise is properly received, documented, stored, and prepared for shipment.
• Monitor order picking and packing to maintain accuracy and meet shipping deadlines.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized.
• Ensure products are scanned, labeled, and shipped to the correct destinations.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrectly received merchandise.
• Maintain organized inventory locations and clean, safe work areas.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory verification, and resolving discrepancies.

Team Leadership

• Provide daily direction and guidance to warehouse associates.
• Help assign tasks and coordinate workflow based on operational priorities.
• Lead by example through a strong work ethic, dependability, and accountability.
• Assist with on-boarding and training new warehouse employees.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, and adherence to procedures.
• Communicate staffing, attendance, performance, and operational concerns to management.
• Help maintain positive teamwork and a productive work environment.
• Support supervisors and managers in meeting daily warehouse objectives.

Quality and Productivity

• Monitor work accuracy and help prevent shipping errors.
• Ensure orders are processed efficiently and according to established procedures.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Support inventory accuracy and proper product handling.
• Help ensure customer orders are completed on time.
• Provide management with updates on workflow, staffing needs, and operational challenges.

Safety and Compliance

• Promote safe warehouse practices and proper material handling.
• Ensure associates follow established safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, and workplace incidents.
• Follow company policies and applicable workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain safe forklift and pedestrian traffic practices.
• Support a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise within the physical requirements established for the position.
• Ability to work around forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to perform hands-on warehouse duties while providing team leadership.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and activity levels.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong understanding of receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes.
• Ability to provide direction and guidance to warehouse employees.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, or Shift Lead.
• Experience training or mentoring warehouse associates.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory tracking.
• Experience with container loading and unloading.
• Experience supporting productivity goals and operational performance.
• Experience in wholesale distribution or general merchandise warehousing.
