Job Opening: Facility Maintenance Worker

Urgent – Facility Maintenance Worker Needed in Ontario  

Join our team as a Maintenance Worker and keep building systems and facilities operating safely and reliably. You’ll handle hands-on repairs and routine maintenance across electrical and building materials. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 4am-12:30pm with overtime daily until 2:30pm. Mandatory Saturdays 8-10hrs. 

Pay Rate: $20.50

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and equipment, identify maintenance needs, and complete repairs using hand tools and appropriate safety practices.
• Perform electrical work and electrical equipment repair
• Maintain and repair cross beams and other facilities equipment.
• Complete building material, maintenance painting, restriping warehouse floors and some plumbing as well as other tasks as needed.
• Organizing and cleaning the outside of the yard
• Utilizing floor scrubber to maintain clean production floors

Requirements:

• Pre-employment screenings
• Present resume and interview with client
• Steel toed shoes are required 
• Mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance, repair, and operations, facilities maintenance, building interior maintenance, and facilities equipment maintenance are valuable.
• Electrical experience, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and familiarity with programmable logic controllers are useful; not every skill is required for every assignment.
• Customer service skills and English communication ability support clear coordination with occupants and coworkers.
• Safely operate Reach, Pacer, Order Picker and Scissor lift.
• Bring a safety-minded approach, sound judgment, and readiness to take on varied maintenance tasks.
