A local distribution in Ontario of a popular name brand of cosmetics is looking for a Quality Assurance associate to join and add value to their team.

Temp to hire opportunity!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm - 11:30pm OT until 1:30am (10 hours a day) and Saturdays

Pay $20.50/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Selects, identifies, verifies, packages, labels, and places product(s) into shipping container(s) and/or ships (loads) product(s) as required.
• Details actual tasks vs. expected tasks thru the comparison of picking and/or packing lists to customer documents.
• Recounts product before shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Delegating orders to the auditors 
• Communication with other departments for discrepancies
• Providing weekly/monthly quality audit reports  
• Ensures product(s) meet(s) all requirements before packing and shipping.
• Handles all products according to customer and employer procedures.
• Communicates effectively with leadership and co-workers

Job Requirements:

• Proficient on Excel, Outlook and utilize Teams
• Efficient and clear communication with operations team, client and auditors
• Great attendance and punctuality

Schedules/Pay Rates Available: 

1st - Monday-Friday/Saturday 7am-3:30pm/OT 4am-2:30pm - $17

2nd - Monday-Friday/Saturday 3pm-11:30pm/OT 1:30am - $18

3rd - Sunday-Thursday/Friday 11pm-7:30am/OT 9:30am - $19.25

Job Duties:

• Utilize RF scanner and electric manual pallet jack to properly and safely transport pallet/boxes.
• Pick Pack Associate holds the responsibility for the accurate and efficient completion of the defined order fulfillment process, which may include material handling, selection, identification, verification, placement, staging, labeling, and shipping of required product as directed.
• Essential Functions  1. Selects, identifies, verifies, packages, labels, and places product(s) into shipping container(s) and/or ships (loads) product(s) as required.

Ability to use RF scanners and pallet jacks as necessary. ? Must be detailed oriented and be able to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.  ? Ability to excel in a team oriented environment and achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Job Requirements:

• Pre-employment screenings
• Steel toed shoes are required 
• Previous experience on electric pallet jack is preferred
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime daily and 6th day
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines
• Team orientated and able to work safely
