We are seeking a professional Operations Coordinator to help our Last Mile recruiting team onboard Independent Contractors operating box trucks. You’ll guide candidates from first contact through handoff to procurement, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and positive onboarding experience.

This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

this is located in Grand Rapids MI, day shift hours Monday-Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Contact prospective Independent Contractors and explain onboarding steps, requirements, and timelines
• Collect and track required documentation while keeping candidate records up to date
• Schedule onboarding calls and coordinate training or compliance reviews
• Maintain real-time pipeline updates and follow up on missing items
• Prepare completed candidate files for handoff to the procurement team
• Support onboarding communications, templates, and administrative tasks
