Installation Technician

Massive receiving yard for a major automotive manufacturer is hiring for 1st and 2nd shift Installation Technicians to install various accessories to vehicles and perform final check before placing vehicle back in the yard for distribution to dealerships.

• Pay is 15.50 to 17.75 per hour to start, pay is depending on shift
• Working Mon - Fri, some Sat
• 1st Shift is 5am to 1:30 or 3:30pm depending on production
• 2nd Shift is 4pm to 12:30am or 2:30am depending on production
• Must be shift flexible and some Saturdays are required

Job Requirements:

1 year or more performing installations of automotive type of accessories

• Use Power and Hand Tools to install accessories
• Follow Written Instruction
• Follow Verbal Instruction for assigned Trainer
• Attention to Detail and Performing Final Inspection
• Good Driving Skills to Move Vehicles From Lot to Production
• Must be accustomed to working in non-climate controlled environments with some outdoor duties.

And

• Valid Driver's License is required
• High School Diploma or GED is required

Job responsibilities: 

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy repair documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Offload incoming trailers efficiently and in a timely manner
• Complete put-aways using safe practices

TUGGERS NEEDED - Waller, TX

 1st shift $13.50- $14.50

• Hours: 5:00AMto 1:30PM or 1:30PM - 10:00PM

Responsibilities:

• To operate a powered tugger to transport materials for outbound delivery to plant.
• Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned.
• Daily inspection and documentation of tugger.
• Inspect product for damage and property scan by machine to ensure safe transport and proper placement.
