Warehouse Order Picker / Forklift Operator

What You'll Do:

  • Operate forklifts and order pickers safely throughout the warehouse
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment to stores and distribution centers
  • Stock inbound products into designated rack locations based on product type and dimensions
  • Relocate merchandise from end caps and service areas to appropriate storage racks
  • Accurately and efficiently pick customer orders
  • Ensure inbound inventory and transfers are stored in assigned rack locations
  • Scan merchandise before moving inventory to maintain accurate tracking
  • Position and organize products within the warehouse racking system

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous forklift and/or order picker experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle merchandise safely

We are seeking experienced, safety-focused Warehouse Associates to join our growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, and forklift experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy, productivity, and teamwork.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload freight using warehouse equipment
  • Move products to designated storage locations
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Verify freight accuracy and inspect for damage
  • Label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack merchandise as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
  • Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly
  • Meet daily productivity and performance expectations
  • Support warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

Job Functions:

  • Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
  • Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area.
  • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
  • Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety.
  • Participate in physical inventories, as needed.
  • As directed by management, perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment to include (but not limited to) stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment.
  • Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment.
  • Comply with OSHA standards.
  • Must be able to meet production standards.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
  • Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift.
  • Charge or change forklift battery as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
