Customer Service Representative – Operations Support

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview

This role provides customer support through phone and email, manages shipment updates, and assists internal and external partners. It requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and deliver excellent customer service

• Respond to customer inquiries via email

• Make outbound calls to follow up on shipment status and resolve issues

• Track, trace, enter, and update shipments

• Support stations and cartage agents

• Use and master outside customer applications

• Follow established procedures and identify needed updates

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience

Physical Requirements

Primarily an office-based clerical role with frequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Extensive phone and computer use required. Remote work may occur at times.

Work Environment

Responsibilities may shift based on business needs, including coverage for absences or peak periods. Some exposure to ambient weather conditions may occur depending on operational requirements.

Custodian – Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. — $15/hr

Position Overview This Custodian role supports daily facility upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do

• Facility cleaning — Empty trash cans, remove debris, wipe down/dust dock doors and equipment, stock restrooms, vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain exterior yard areas.

• Basic repairs — Perform simple equipment repairs as needed to support daily operations.

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements

• Custodial experience — At least 6 months in custodial operations.

• Physical capability — Ability to safely walk, reach overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.

• Endurance — Walk and stand for long periods on various surfaces, including uneven or slippery areas.

Preferred

• Education — High school diploma or equivalent.

• Teamwork — Positive attitude and strong ability to work well with others.

This Material Handler role supports daily warehouse operations including material handling, scanning, picking, packing, and maintaining 7S standards in an ITAR-regulated environment. Candidates must be able to work both the training shift and the permanent shift.

Schedule & Pay

• Training Period: Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm

• Permanent Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:00pm–12:30am

• Pay Rate: $17.50-$18.25/hr with shift premium

• Steel-toe footwear required

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling — Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility

• Order Processing — Picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products

• 7S Compliance — Maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Scanner Operation — Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems

• Safety Practices — Work safely to protect yourself and your team

Minimum Requirements

• Experience operating material-handling equipment

• Ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs

  • Stand, sit, or walk for long periods

  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull

  • Handle tools/equipment with hands and fingers

  • Work in hot or cold warehouse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Flexible availability with potential overtime

• 1 year of warehouse experience

• Handheld scanner experience

• Positive, team-oriented attitude

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Build and hand test product under supervision, while conforming to customer build instructions.
• Perform a variety of assembly operations involving the application of connectors and hardware on wire harnesses and/or cable assemblies (push, prep, pin) and assemble backend hardware.
• Apply heat shrink, sleeving, labels and spot tie as required.
• Operate presses and terminating equipment.
• Cutting of sleeves and convoluted tubing per customer specifications.
• Identify and apply product labels per instructions.
• Utilize hand tools (wire strippers, pliers, cutters, heat guns) and operate automated wire strip/termination equipment.
• Identify parts by using part numbers.
• Follow work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Follow instructions of production methods, equipment use, and maintain quality of product.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Adhere to company Policies, Quality, Efficiency and Safety Standards.
• Complete all corporate training requirements.
• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record in accordance with company policy.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other manufacturing work instructions is preferred, but willing to train.
• Ability to effectively read, comprehend and communicate in the English language preferred.
• Good eyesight and ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to use small hand tools and semi-automated equipment.
• Highly skilled in working with team members in a productive manner.
