Job Duties

  • Collaborates and coordinates water heater sales support for all locations.
  • Provides water heater technical support to Hirsch sales personnel and customers.
  • Improves process efficiency of defective returns.
  • Participates and supports all water heater team projects.
  • Supports and coordinates all water heater customer rebate programs.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves any warranty disputes with the branch, manufacturer and/or customer.
  • Help to identify product gaps in existing Hirsch inventory.
  • Research new products to be considered for a stocking position in the marketplace.
  • Coordinate with branch and division management product knowledge training of sales staff when new products are brought into Hirsch inventory.
  • Evaluate products by region to ensure the stocking position meets regional demands.
  • Research pricing and/or market share of target product and/or manufacturer for both retail online and wholesale channels and recommend changes.
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Inventory Control departments, and assist to develop purchasing parameters (line points, order points, etc.) for existing and new product.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Prefer mechanically inclined individuals with previous plumbing or electrical experience.
  • Prefer previous call center experience.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Requires an understanding of the design, function, installation, operation and repair of water heaters.
  • Requires understanding of combustion and the environment in which the water unit is located.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Resource for helping engineering team execute projects throughout plant
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment.
