Position Summary

Extrusion Operators are responsible for the safe operation of plastic extrusion equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures and winder speeds while focusing on safety and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirements

• Perform production execution of product labeling and production entry

• Complete all required quality inspections, testing and documentation

• Perform routine preventative maintenance

• Comply with Company standards regarding housekeeping

• Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences

• Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking and bending

• Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 40 lbs

• Eye/hand coordination

• Must be able to work in hot room environment
