Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Interview Required send Resume)

Pay Rate $20.00 per Hour

Work Schedule: 8:00am-Finish Mon-Fri, plus required overtime.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility. The job duties include plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, inspecting buildings, repairs, and maintaining inventory. To do well in this role you need to perform the following: • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs within the facility • Routine grounds keeping • Upkeep of painting • Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures • Knowledge of HVAC: testing, installing, maintaining and servicing, troubleshooting and repair • Operate and repair equipment (Forklift, Dock Stocker, Pallet Jack) • Other duties as assigned

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Will spend significant time on the production floor, with frequent communication between local employees/mgmt. and key customer contacts • Able to work extended hours when production dictates • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an as needed basis • Must be able to work in Ambient, Cooler and Freezer areas

Job Requirements:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, customers and vendors
• Attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
• Basic knowledge of Windows based computer systems: MS Office
• Basic knowledge of logical problem analysis
• Ability to interpret blueprints for mechanical and electrical schematics
• Good working under pressure
• Must be highly independent and results oriented

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma
• Technical degree of mechanical/electrical or two years of experience in manufacturing as a maintenance technician or similar role  
• Excellent understanding of bill of material for manufacturing, repair/technical language.
