The leading manufacturer of innovative data center containment solutions, is seeking talented Welders to join their Salt Lake City team. This is an established, but still rapidly growing company, which offer wonderful career opportunities.
Pay $24.00 per hour
Shift 4:00pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday
Essential Job Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
· Fit and weld structural tube assemblies and components per fabrication drawings and WPS requirements.
· Perform layout, cutting, grinding, and fitting operations to prepare materials.
· Verify dimensions and alignment using measuring tools, squares, and levels.
· Perform MIG (GMAW) and/or Flux Core (FCAW) welding carbon steel materials.
· Maintain high-quality standards in weld appearance, size, and penetration.
· Work independently or as part of a fabrication team to meet production schedules.
· Inspect welds for conformance and report nonconformities to supervision.
· Operate welding machines, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and shop protocols.
· Other duties as assigned
