Job Summary

The WIP (Work in Progress Room) position ensures the accuracy of inventory that is in production which includes raw goods and sub ingredients. The ingredients will be scanned in and out of the WIP room to ensure accurate inventory. They will also be trained in the accurate use of the Big Joey and the Wavs which allow product to be placed and removed from higher locations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Allocate totes of ingredients into racks utilizing a WAV Action Lift and scan gun

• Coordinate production requests for ingredients and ensure the products are ready to be taken to the line before assembly of finished goods begins

• Use scales to accurately weigh ingredients when building carts for production to ensure the correct quantities are issued to the production lines

• Use scales to verify and weigh ingredients being returned from production to ensure inventory accuracy before placing them back into WIP

• Use of the computer and WMS system to ensure accuracy of inventory

• Distribute ingredients to Production by using a scan gun

• Return unused ingredients back into WIP using a scan gun

• Assign ingredients to a location by using a scan gun

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of WIP room

• Always follow all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices

• Must be able to work regular, mandatory overtime and be flexible with work schedule

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

• Able to work on a schedule that includes overtime on a regular basis

• RF gun and forklift driving experience highly desired

• Able to follow instructions verbally and in writing in basic English as well as speak English

• Basic math skills required to accurately weigh ingredients, verify quantities, and maintain inventory accuracy

• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with production teams and provide clear updates regarding ingredient availability and inventory status

• Basic computer skills required and experience with WMS for inventory

• A can-do attitude with a desire to learn

• Excellent attendance; punctual, flexible, and reliable

• Prides self on accuracy with an attention to detail

Job Description

As a nighttime Sanitor, you will maintain the cleanliness of the physical plant and equipment, including the building structure and food processing equipment, within cleaning time deadlines. More specifically, your responsibilities are outlined below:

Essential Functions

  • Disassembles washes clean and sanitizes all production line equipment at the end of the production day to prevent cross-contamination of products.
  • Cleans walls, floors, overhead pipes, and drains within the department using established procedures.
  •  Washes all utensils used for processing and mixing of products.
  •  Will be trained and certified to follow sanitation procedures for proper chemical solutions use, and proper concentrations so that it is not harmful to workers or equipment.
  •  Checks cleaning records indicating frequency, duration, temperature, concentration, and use of final sanitizing products.
  •  Coordinates cleaning with maintenance & production for on-time production start-up.
  •  Follows all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and PPE. Reports any injury, accident or unsafe condition immediately to the supervisor.
  • Follows all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes) Monitors and corrects violations in the assigned area.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Report food safety and quality issues.

Schedule

  • Day Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Swing Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM

This is a 4-day / 10-hour schedule. Frequent overtime is currently available, including many Fridays and occasional Saturdays. Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
