  • Min / Max levels will be constantly audited for accuracy

  • Maintain backups files for all inventory
  • Create parts order for Purchasing
  • Maintain usage log and remove obsolete items from inventory with oversight from Chief Engineer
  • Manage Critical Parts Inventory
  • Maintain inventory consumption, file
  • Track and report Inventory value, due last week of each period
  • Manage inventory list of discontinued items with value removed
  • Track Equipment History costs
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Process Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders
  • Maintain environmental database (BEST) with updated information (wastewater, oxidizer related info, refrigeration, vendor updates, etc.)

We are looking to hire a Traffic Clerk in Laredo TX!

 

Pay: $10.50-$12/hr. paid weekly (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

  • 1 hour lunch break.
  • Must be available to work overtime at least one Saturday per month from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and review commercial invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate dates and input of information to open a reference file.
  • Submit information to US Customs through ABI in a timely manner.
  • Prepare bill of ladings.
  • Handle email and phone inquiries.

 

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in computer usage; ability to operate a computer keyboard with finger dexterity and read a computer screen with visual acuity.

Preferred Job Skills:

  • Familiarity with U.S. Customs Regulations, forms, and language.
  • Knowledge of entry types, classifications, and other agency requirements.

Shipping Clerk

Remedy Staffing is hiring for Shipping Clerks to work at one of our Distribution warehouses on the Northside! This position will require the employee to prepare outgoing shipments, organize inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

 

Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday

Pay: $15/hr

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
  • Prepares paperwork for shipments
  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

Work Hours & Benefits:

This is a Long-Term Contract position with the following benefits:

  • Holiday Pay
    • Eligible after 90 days of employment
  • Vacation
    • Granted after the 1st year of employment.

Will require overtime as needed!

Shipping Clerks Qualifications/Skills:

  • Scanning and sorting outgoing stock
  • Pulling, packing, and loading

  • High school diploma or bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong ability to self-manage and prioritize workloads that will change rapidly throughout the workday and handling multiple communication systems at one time

Position Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the Samples Inbox and Sample requests from Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Manage orders from the time they are received in Sample Inbox until time of shipment.
  • Research Inventory availability, Order Entry, Order Allocation and Delivery, Provide tracking information.
  • Pulling POD from carrier sites, and accessing shipping documents through SAP, DocuWare or other filing systems
  • Assist with additional clerical support when requested by management by pulling necessary reports or documents i.e., audits.
