Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates documentation and appointments of shipments with freight companies based on sales department shipment requests, double checks all paperwork filing and distributing documentation to proper personnel after freight has been shipped.
- Maintains daily log of all shipments, types of bills of lading and address labels, traces and follows up on freight parcels and claims.
- Sends out UPS and Fed-Ex packages daily maintaining appropriate logs and paperwork as required.
- May assist QA department with inspections, releasing of materials, or processing non-compliance material(s) to include removing materials from production and warehouse areas, labeling the non-compliance material(s), and completing rejection forms.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized environment (docks, receiving and QA area) filling out appropriate housekeeping documentation as required.
- Cross-trained in all positions within the warehouse able and willing to carry out or fill-in when required and/or as needed.

– Receive and accept deliveries of client materials to ensure proper part numbers and quantities. – Inspect the condition of items; comparing purchase orders or IUF’s to packing lists and to items received; and report discrepancies to supervisor. – Maintain shipping and packing materials and work area. – Role will work directly with confidential client data containing protected health information and/or personally identifiable information and individual must complete annual HIPAA training. – Support other tasks and responsibilities, both permanent and temporary as assigned or directed by management. – Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to, but not limited to, security and protecting privacy of client and company information, production standards, and general safety. |
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
– High School diploma or GED is required. Previous Receiving experience is preferred. – Computer experience -email, Microsoft, UPS, Fed ex applications – Must have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independently to achieve production expectations. – Must be well organized and able to communicate effectively with various departments within the organization. – Must be able to work outside normal working hours to accommodate production needs when required. – Able to drive a sit down and stand up forklift -cherry picker |

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

1–2 years of freight forwarding, warehouse, or airline logistics experience preferred
