Job Description:

• Load and unload delivery trucks – operating sit down and stand up forklift equipment – Lifting products weighing up to approximately 50lbs. • Handling of product greater than approximately 50lbs. • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading. • Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, informing management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts. • Follow designated warehouse stock locations by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow. • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial / housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building, keeping floors clear of debris, maintaining bathrooms and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse. • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc. and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory. • Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork including data entry for purchase orders. May assist in daily closing of the warehouse. $17.25-$21.50/hour depending on chosen shift and experience. 

As a forklift operator, job responsibilities include: 

• Safely operating a stand up (reach truck/cherry picker) or a sit-down forklift to pick and put away orders / materials
• Performing other general warehouse job duties, including non-equipment functions (may not be on equipment 100% of every day). These job functions may include pick pack, palletizing, wrapping pallets, using a pallet jack, etc.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Stand-Up Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone dependable, safety-minded, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts
• Load, unload, move, and stack materials
• Perform basic computer tasks for inventory and documentation
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of stand-up forklift experience
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Basic computer skills
• Must come to the office for in-person forklift validation
