A local food distribution in Rialto is looking for an experienced in Warehouse Lead to join and add value to their team. The Operations Lead works alongside the Supervisor to direct the logistics efforts of the distribution center. 

Temp to hire opportunity!

Schedule: Monday to Friday 3pm to 1:30am

Pay Rate: $23

Job Duties:

• Protects the accuracy, integrity, and salability of our client’s inventory entrusted to us, through the adherence to standard operating procedures and meeting physical inventory and/or cycle count accuracy expectations.
• Directs appropriate warehousing team with respect and proper manners.
• Runs all necessary reports to determine effective action to maximize building capacity.
• Completes all required documentation on inbound and outbound documents.
• Reads and understands general instructions and prepare written reports.
• Understands and uses company’s warehouse management system, and our timekeeping system.
• Handles all products according to customer and employer procedures.
• Communicates changes in extraordinary handling procedures to office personnel. 
• Communicates and advises Supervisor of operational issues that may involve other departments.
• Understands company goals and works to create an environment for success.
• Supports company safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
• Interacts with various levels of local management concerning daily activities.
• Complies with all other procedures outlined in the Operations & Procedure Manual.
• Communicates effectively with Transportation, Warehouse, Management, Coworkers, and Customers
• Operates Stand Up Reach forklift when needed to move or stage product
• Completes other tasks as needed

• Tracks operational efficiency and ensures work completion in an operational area.

Must: 

• Have recent Supervisor/Lead Experience.
• Pass Background Check
• Have a Diploma/GED
• Strong knowledge in Excel 
• Have a U.S. Issued Birth Certificate/Passport PLUS State ID or Driver License. 
• Provide a Resume with detailed description of experience/skills utilized in previous employment.

Hours and Starting Pay:

Monday – Friday 3:30pm-Midnight $16.50/hour

Tasks May Include:

• Person will be responsible for day to day warehouse activity including inspection/pulling/kitting/shipping/parts receiving activity, assign headcount as per backlog, cross train team member different area of the warehouse activity to support production.
