Job Summary:

The Team Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while providing guidance, direction, and leadership to associates on the floor. This role ensures productivity, safety, quality, and company standards are met while acting as a key point of contact between associates and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support associates in daily warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory)

Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure production goals are met

Train, coach, and mentor associates on safety, quality, and productivity standards

Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Serve as the first point of contact for associate questions and concerns

Assist supervisors and management with reporting, documentation, and attendance tracking

Monitor workflow and adjust staffing as needed to meet operational demands

Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, or process inefficiencies

Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience required

Prior lead, supervisor, or team leadership experience preferred

Forklift or material handling equipment experience a plus (Reach, Sit-down, EPJ, etc.)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills (WMS, email, reporting tools)

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
