Job Description – Freight Forwarding / Shipping & Receiving Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Freight Forwarding / Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Hialeah Gardens. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and shipping documentation, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading freight.
• Prepare, create, and review Bills of Lading (BOL) and other shipping documents.
• Coordinate freight forwarding processes and communicate with carriers and vendors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support general warehouse operations.
• Utilize shipping software such as SAP, Margalla, or similar systems for data entry and tracking.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, shipping, and receiving.
• Ability to read and create Bills of Lading with accuracy.
• Forklift (sit-down) operating experience required.
• Experience with SAP or other shipping/logistics systems preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred – Spanish with basic English skills acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.

Location: Hialeah Gardens

Pay Rate: $21 per hour
