Hiring Immediately – Pharmaceutical Pre-Production Coordinators
Prologistix is currently seeking new faces to join the premier pharmaceutical manufacturer located just on the south side of Kansas City, Missouri.
Shifts Available: 1st shift
Monday-Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm – $24/hr.
The Pharmaceutical Pre-Production Coordinator serves between Project Management and Packaging Operations. Responsible for assisting in the coordination of activities related to creating packaging batch records and other GMP documents & materials that comply with the clients’ scope. Ensures that the work that is carried out by Packaging Operations is in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The primary responsibilities of this position include creating batch records based on source documentation while identifying customer needs and the ability to prepare batch records following GMP standards. This position will coordinate receiving materials associated with PO generation and zero-dollar Purchase Orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with Production, Quality Assurance, Label Control, and Package Engineering personnel to communicate project requirements and gather appropriate paperwork for batch records.
- Create batch records based on project source documentation from Project Management including primary, secondary labeling, kitting and assembly.
- Item Master identification and creator of request forms, JD Edwards Router, BOM, Purchase Order, and Work Order creation, GSA set up.
- Create Change Orders and drive resolution to changes required during production.
- Deliver the packaging documentation within agreed upon timelines, ensuring Right First Time
- Work with Label Designers to obtain item numbers for labels and randomization copies for batch records.
Job Requirements:
- GMP experience is preferred
- At least one year experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred
- Experience working in preparation of packaging batch records, packaging, labeling, assembly, and distribution of clinical trial materials is preferred
- Must possess verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills appropriate for a business environment
- Must have ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be computer literate with past experience using spreadsheets and word processing programs

Prologistix is currently seeking new faces to join the premier pharmaceutical manufacturer located just on the south side of Kansas City, Missouri.
Shifts Available:
Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm. $20.90/hr.
This is an entry-level position created to support clinical trial projects through the packaging of clinical trial supplies. All activities performed will ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, good documentation practices (GDP), current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position reports to the Production Supervisor and may accept tasks issued from Room Leads and Team Leads.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that during all packaging operations the site’s safety, quality and compliance metrics are met or surpassed while meeting corporate and site standards and policies
- Develop proficiency in packaging batch record execution in accordance with SOPs and regulatory
- Inspect drug product, components, and clinical labels for defects, blemishes or missing text prior to and during production
- Label application to consistently follow all visual/written procedures
Job Requirements:
- Operate in a clean room environment within required gowning, aseptic behaviors, and proper flow procedures;
- Performs general clean-room housekeeping, including room and equipment cleaning(s), disposal of trash and recyclables, and adherence to 5S standards.
- Accurately following GMP documents (Batch records, SOPs, protocols, etc)
- Adhere to all company compliance, safety and cleanliness, and attendance requirements
- Safely operates complex equipment
- Performs equipment setup & changeover
- Work effectively in a team environment

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment & Distribution
- Select products from the distribution center according to location, description, and SKU number.
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and identify products for shipment.
- Sort, consolidate, palletize, and load orders for transportation.
- Audit work for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Communicate safety, sanitation, and quality concerns promptly.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain product quality by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety procedures.
- Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify, report, and document any deviations from quality, legal, or food safety requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all product specifications and quality procedures.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), dock lock, and facility traffic control procedures.
- Report all workplace incidents immediately.
- Operate equipment only when authorized and trained to do so.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and sanitation practices.
- Promote a culture of safety by coaching and encouraging safe work behaviors among team members.
- Participate in safety initiatives, committees, and certification programs as applicable.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a production, warehouse, distribution, material handling, or order selection role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written policies, procedures, specifications, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with BRC, GMP, and HACCP standards preferred.
- Ability to work in compliance with quality, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including short-notice assignments when business needs require.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move products throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to safely lift and move products as required by job duties.
