General Laborer Job Responsibilities:

• Sort produce according to size, weight, color, ripeness, and quality standards.
• Inspect fruits and vegetables for defects, bruises, contamination, or spoilage.
• Remove damaged, defective produce from production lines.
• Pack products according to company standards and shipping requirements.
• Stack products and materials safely on pallets, racks, or designated storage areas.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

General Laborer Job Requirements:

• Physical ability to complete job duties which may include standing for long periods of time.
• Working in a non-climate controlled environment
• Lifting objects with an established maximum weight
• Ability to follow directions

Job Requirements:

• 3 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus
• Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts
• Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift
• Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers a plus
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Able to count accurately
