Maintenance Technician – Cold Storage Warehouse Monday-Friday

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment throughout the cold storage facility to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key duties include servicing P.I.T. (Powered Industrial Truck) machinery, performing maintenance on dock and freezer doors, conveyors, racking, and general building systems. The technician responds to equipment issues, conducts preventive maintenance, upholds safety and compliance standards, and supports overall warehouse productivity in a cold-temperature environment.

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler with STAND UP/REACH FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE. To support warehouse operations. This role involves operating powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stage materials, as well as performing hands-on material handling tasks such as labeling, shrink-wrapping, pallet breakdown, and inventory support. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Note: This position is not forklift-only; candidates must be comfortable performing manual labor duties in addition to forklift operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely

• Load and unload materials from trucks and deliveries

• Transport materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks

• Manually apply labels, shrink-wrap pallets, and break down pallets

• Pick, stage, and move materials according to production schedules or shipping orders

• Stack goods in designated storage locations following inventory control procedures

• Ensure loads are secure and properly stacked

• Stack and organize empty pallets

• Perform daily equipment inspections, including battery charging and basic maintenance

• Examine products to verify quality and conformance to standards

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks as needed

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, lift, and move throughout the shift

• Must be physically capable of performing manual warehouse labor

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Responsibilities

• Must be open to work weekends

• Operates forklift / Order Picker in and around warehouse

• Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC’s

• Moves product from Inbound Bins into the racks according product type and dimension

• Relocates product from end caps and service area into racks

• Efficiently pick customer orders

• Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas

• Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location

• Positions product on racking system • Carry or transports orders to the dock with material handling equipment

• Able to operate radio frequency equipment

• Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards

• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety
