Job Description: • Load and unload delivery trucks – operating sit down and stand up forklift equipment – Lifting products weighing up to approximately 50lbs. • Handling of product greater than approximately 50lbs. • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading. • Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, informing management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts. • Follow designated warehouse stock locations by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow. • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial / housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building, keeping floors clear of debris, maintaining bathrooms and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse. • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc. and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory. • Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork including data entry for purchase orders. May assist in daily closing of the warehouse. ProLogistix is hiring a Dock Worker / Cherry Picker Operator to join our team at a leading food distribution facility in Reno, NV. In this role, you’ll spend about 60% of your time operating a Cherry Picker forklift to move and organize product within the warehouse. The remaining 40% of your time will involve manually creating pick tickets and preparing orders for shipment.

This facility includes cooler and freezer environments — associates will move in and out of cold storage areas throughout the shift. Be sure to dress in layers and wear appropriate cold-weather gear!

Pay: $23.00 per hour | Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 5:00 PM until done (8–12 hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Cherry Picker / Reach Truck safely and efficiently
• Perform shipping and receiving duties: unloading trucks, checking in orders, preparing outbound shipments
• Stock and organize parts in shelving, storage areas, and the parts counter
• Provide quality customer service to walk-in/physical customers
